no of the I- mast drawings (done by mitch and only slightly modified by me) have that green, nor do the gatekeeper parts have it. which version did you carry it over from? :P there are actually 6 camera's (if it is the gatekeeper system, that is) , angled with each other, and while I am open to different methods to show that, this is not the way I think it should be done.
Whoops, completely got you mixed up with MC Spoilt B'stard

Check the last few pages of the Renewing The Official Parts Sheets thread for reference pictures.
that would be almost insulting xD
anyways, it is the gatekeeper system, so my earlier comments still stand :P
Actually, it's apparently a Samsung IRST system, this being a combined effort. The sensors in the lower part are apparently Samsung equipment, and the modular mast design and APAR is Thales. It's a complete sensor package for a 8000 ton destroyer, no other masts needed.

nearly done with the weapons and directors on the 1947 destroyers. just one lichtraketwerper and 2 directors (of which one is only used on the never build designs) to go.....

I will post an little sheet with all these 1947 HSA parts how they are linked to each other and the weapons soon ;) but let's first get them all drawn.

and here, representing the last 2 directors on the holland and friesland classes. note that some of these directors were placed with 2 pixels deck penetration (which is basically just this mount lowered a bit into the deck, the size of everything in this drawing stays the same)

and now the last part for the 1947 destroyers: the Lichtraketwerper.

does anybody know if this is used by any other nation in the world (as in, is it developed for the Dutch or did the Dutch only use it) as that determines if the unit would be on the dutch parts sheet or on an bofors parts sheet.

now, as promised, I will work on an small sheet on how it all works together.

It was used on a few Danish frigate designs from the early fifties, but nothing came of them.

if anything isn't clear, please say so, then I will modify :P

Thiel, do you have an design or exact commissioning date on those ships? (before or after the 1947 classes were being developed)
