Thought it might be useful...

Here's the reference I used: http://www.hnsa.org/doc/boatcat/index.htm
Is it worth to continue with the rest of the boats from there?

5"/54 Mk 45
Already in the "renewing the old parts sheets" thread, but I figure it'll be better served here.

I'll put it up with my next update (probably later this week).

Question: Is that 5" Mk 45 identical (but an updated drawing) with that 127 mm canon I've put on my F362 Peter Willemoes (Huitfeldt Class)? I should update my drawing concerning the SM2 and could then do it with the gun too, if the answer is yes ;)

Yes and no (Isn't RDN equipment lovely :))
The RDN uses the 5"62 Mark 45 gun, but the with the shield from the 5"/54 Mark 45. I don't know why, but I'm guessing the conventional shield was cheaper than the stealthy one.

Careful to correct the colors - the grays are very similar to, but not exactly the same as, the standard hull/superstructure/light grays.

Is there any chance that someone with much more knowledge than myself could look at the radar sheet and give indications of when they were in service. Group them like 70's-80's / 90's - present. I think that would be really helpful.

I do this already - can take some time going through them all though - I should probably just make a note page formyself.

It was just a suggestion though.....
