In October 1930 Hellas ordered 25 Morane Saulnier MS.230 ET2 from France as training aircraft and they were delivered in 1931. Official webpage of
real Hellenic Air Force says that 18 airframes were ordered. The designation “ET2” stands for “Etat 2”, a distinction from the single seat model. They remained in service as primary trainers until 1936, while they were later used for pilot’s proficiency maintenance flights, until the beginning of WWII.
