Here an other addition for the Gendarmeria!!!

In this paper You will find some descriptions of the policemen and policewomen of Caribia and their equipment.

The core of the "Sistema Gendarme" (Policeman System) is the Beretta i-PROTECT+ network system ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7j1jWNV3aA ), this system is connected with all the standard weapons of the Gendarmeria (all the explanation are in the video). the small "things" on the right side of the head are video-recorders which provide live-time video at the C2.

As said above, the weapons are custom made for the Gendarmeria (suffix "i" of the weapon) that include the standard issue pistol (Beretta Px4i in 9x19mm Parabellum) and a Beretta Taser.
The "optional" weapons are usually located between the two front seat of the car in a safe place and this include an SMG (Beretta Mx-4i in 9x19mm Parabellum), an assault rifle (Beretta Rx-4i in 5.56x45mm) and a shotgun (Beretta Tx-4i in .12 Gauge). All those weapons including the Px-4 are real "members" of the Beretta Storm family and for the Gendarmeria they are modified with the sensors of the i-PROTECT+.

How a police force can work without some motorbikes?

Well the Gendarmeria have few (but good) assets as the DUCATI Hyperstrada and Multistrada for the cities and town patrols, as well as the Polaris MV850 for the beach patrols.

I'm taking it that the Polaris MV850 is a 4x4 Quad?

And, not beinging a Bike person, is one to assume the Hyperstrada 800 is an 800cc MC and the Multistrada 1200S is the 1.2L version?

Well yes, I haven't posted the detail cause those vehicles have just one engine for model, so they are unique.

The Hyperstrada is a 820 an something cc with 110hp;
The Multistrada is little less than 1200cc (like 1198cc) with 150hp;
The Polaris is a 850cc with 77hp and is a 4x4 AWD.
