since I have been rewatching Robotech lately the first thing i thought of was that it was a Valkyrie Veritech.... perhapes it is time to come back to reality

No it's not crap. It's pretty good. Choosing a good source drawing is the hard part, especially when decent 3-views are hard to find for some aircraft.
This looks good, keep on with it.

It was hard to find a good source drawing. There were lots of errors in the 10-12 I looked at.

DP, I'll change the radome line color and add the shadows. I just plain forgot to do them.
