Acela Express shown in standard configuration.

Bombardier JetTrain, Acela's red-headed stepsister. Diesel-fueled, turbine-powered HSR...because why not? Shown in the three test/exhibition configurations, and two notional in-service configurations.

Decided to take a break from aircraft to fill in some gaps in North American Railroad equipment.

Starting with the Electromotive GP7 Factory Variants

The GP7 Had a EMD 567B 16-cylinder engine generating 1,500 horsepower
There were 2,729 A units and 5 B units built from 1949 to 1954. Many are still in active service.

Electromotive GP9 Factory Variants

The GP9 Had a EMD 567C 16-cylinder engine generating 1,750 horsepower
There were 4,112 A units and 165 B units built from 1954 to 1963. Many are still in active service.

I don't know about accuracy, as I have no idea about these locomotives, but drawing-wise you managed to make quite good series of drawings. :)
(there are few styllistical choices I'd argue about, but nothing big)
Not trying to be mean or rude, but comparing with your attempts to draw aircraft from scratch... maybe you should consider concentrating on drawing rail vehicles?

Thanks man! That means a lot! I am going to be devoting more of my time to filling in some gaps in the FD Trainbucket archive, but I will still be working on aircraft as well.

Electromotive GP18 Factory Variants

The GP18 Had a EMD 567D1 16-cylinder engine generating 1,800 horsepower
There were 405 A units built. It replaced the GP9 in the EMD catalog, and was produced from 1959. to 1963.

Electromotive GP20 Factory Variants

The GP20 Had a EMD 567D2 turbocharged 16-cylinder engine generating 2,000 horsepower
There were 260 A units built. It was produced from 1959. to 1962.

Electromotive GP15 Factory Variants

The GP15-1 had a EMD 645E 12-cylinder engine generating 1,500 horsepower
There were 310 A units built. It was produced from 1976. to 1982.

The GP15AC also had a EMD 645E 12-cylinder engine generating 1,500 horsepower, but with AC alternators instead of DC Generators
There were 35 A units built. It was produced two months in 1982.

The GP15T had a EMD 645E3 Turbocharged 8-cylinder engine generating 1,500 horsepower
There were 28 A units built. It was produced from 1982 to 1983.
