I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread for parts sheets of any personnel that are to be used in FD scale drawings, or for anyone interested making uniforms for an AU.

I'll start it off with some dress from the Royal Navy and Royal Marines:

Really this scale is too small for anything meaningful to be seen.

If you want to draw uniforms and personal equipment, try Franscale:

Are there any information about Franscale?
Maybe I will try to do some uniforms.

BTW: I think there were some really nice figures in FD scale, for example Darth Panda's british napoleonic soldiers or his civil war soldiers.

There is a large thread at Lineartinc but you must be a member.

Maybe I'll start a thread here when I get home from work!

I'm with Colo - FD-scale is a bit small for uniforms, Franscale works better.

Franscale seems to be working well for that kind of drawings indeed, but I'd say that I like these tiny FD uniform drawings more - precisely because they are so small (and therefore challenging).
Great work Indiajuliet and Glorfindel. :)

Thanks eswube and PB, and good work Glorfindel.

I did them FD scale so that they could be used with ships or vehicles of the same scale if someone wanted to show something with a crew or an organisational structure of both manpower and equipment.

If you want to make a scale specifically to show uniforms then I would personally go bigger than the Franscale ones you've shown. If you're after detail, maybe something like 50, 75 or 100 pixels per foot would be better.
