I believe the Australian Armor Units in North Africa used captured Carro Armato L6/40's in a Scouting Role, they painted White Kangaroos on the sides of the turrets.

Sorry Nighthunter the 6th Divisional Cavalry Regiment didn't use L6/40s in North Africa.

They did use M11/39s and M13/40s painted, as you noted, with big white kangaroos conspicuously around the vehicles. Their normal equipment was Vickers Light Mk.VIB tanks and Universal Carriers. (Has anyone done a Universal Carrier in FD?)

As an aside captured Vichy Renault R35s were used by Div Cav Regts in Syria.

Darth Panda has done the Universal Carrier: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=4092&p=94997&hilit ... ier#p94997

Do you have any information regarding how the Div Cav M11/39s and M13/40s were painted (aside from the kangaroo)? Were they green or a sandy colour? A Google search seems to bring up 50/50 of each...
