CAF Gavilan M.3

Using the canopy of cannibalised ex-US Mustangs, the M.3 Gavilan was converted in small numbers by the CAF. Clipped wings and a more powerful engine created an agile aircraft.

Gloster Meteor

Supplied in 1950 for evaluation, 14 Meteors were subsequently purchased and equipped 2 Fighter squadron. The FRCA's first operational jet aircraft.

Soviet aircraft were supplied to the FRCA during the 60s.

I guess that during the 60s the government kept some decent relations with USSR, then. Kind of like Peru in real life... (during those years).

BAe Sea Harrier FA.2

16 aircraft recently purchased from the UK to equip the 6th DM Air Wing. Operates from land and (yet to be designed & drawn) LPH/Light carrier. The DivisiĆ³n de la Marina (DM) is independent of both the Army and the Navy and has amphibious forces, armour and this air wing - formerly 6th Attack Squadron.
