I work on "Panzer Division 43" and "schwere Panzer Kompanie/Abteilung" from 1942 to 1945.
In some years perhaps !

Hi Caddaric,

I have a question, if that's OK?

Most of the Gruppenfuhrer are shown with one pistol / NCO (I think "unteroffiziere" is NCO? My German is so bad these days...) - however, for the "Funker im gp.kw." ("Funk" is radio, I think so that's the radioman?), it's consistently (at least in 1. Zug, 2. Zug and 3.Zug) as one pistol for two NCOs? Can you explain why? Apologies if I've missed something really obvious...

Regards,
Ad

No, there is a lot of handwrite mods in the orignal wartimes documents, but in this case, it's a bad copy/past from commander's Richtschützen !
There is 20 men, 20 handguns in each Zug as write in the sum (+ 1 submachine gun and 2 machine guns by tank)
My apologies.

Caddaric, I think your vehicles and men are perfectly wonderful mate but, sorry to be a pain in the arse and all that, but to enable me to enjoy them to the full extent I think they're worth, is there any possibility of labeling them in English please? The last time I did any German was at school, and to say I'm a little rusty would be an understatement in the extreme.

Many thanks,

Andy

Thank you guys,

@adenandy: I hope graham's post is enouth for your understanding, as he sent his source, because I will not translate the whole division in English ! (Time-consuming)

@graham: I gess the company can not be "freie Gliederung" style when it has maintenance troops and field train attached
