Nice drawings shippy2013, as always!!! :D
My only "but..." (you know I always have a "but"... "i´m bUtman") :twisted: are the lateral cockpit windows of the MR3s... ;)
Seems that in the MR3 they "merged" several ones into a larger plexiglas one (with a small openable portion near windshield) and the aft one was greatly reduced in size... I send you some MR2 vs MR3 cockpit views in PM to illustrate what i'm talking about... I hope you don´t mind! :)
Again, Great great work!!!

@Radome
Great to see the An-124 finished! :)

@Shippy2013
Sorry to be not equally enthusiastic as other users, but I have some remarks on those Shackletons.
1) I find it bit odd that You've marked wingtips (not the contour, but panel lines on the bottom side of the wing) in black, but the ailerons, flaps etc. are marked in grey (although rudders are marked in black);
2) on Your drawing the engines merge with leading edge of engine much more smoothly than it was the case in the real aircraft, which also results in rather weird looking profile of the leading edge against the backdrop of the engine. I believe that what You made a transition between engine and wing is actually the leading edge "behind" the engine;

https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2239/4113 ... bcd7b6.jpg

3) I also can't say I like the shape of the "upper right" corner of the cockpit - it could really be made more smooth;
4) on the AEW model I'd say that the shape of the transition between radar and fuselage looks very crude, and I also think that the panel lines shouldn't be black (as they are neither the outer contour, nor sharp edges nor distinct "breaks" in the surface like doors etc.)

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... on_AEW.JPG

And there's also an issue of the pilot's cockpit on the MR.3 which has a LOT more glass (now it looks like the pilots had to look through some tiny portholes) - but that has been already mentioned.

And, as promised, here's my weekend project.

It always seemed to me that this aircraft came straight out from a James Bond film...

I'm leaving the AU paint schemes for the next weekend project.

Great Britain, South Africa, Avro Shackleton:
