Asheburton's is the C-2A(R), new build/rebuilt aircraft issued from 1985 to 1989. I tried to depict the original C-2A built from 1965 to 1968.

And I forgot the tailhook.

I am pleased to announce, that during the next weekend I am going to (at long last) post the 1943-1949 part of the Polish Wings (Polish air force in the Eastern Front and first post-war years). :)
Of course, the blanks/other countries' paint schemes will then follow in this thread.

Unfortunately the later parts (1950 onwards) will be posted only much later, as I have still a lots to do for them. :roll:

We will be waiting eagerlly your fantastic drawings!

A little question (with my appologies because is somewhat an off-topic), Do you know what happened with the promising 1939 development of the polish bomber PZL Los? Thanks.

@Reytuerto
Planned development was PZL.49 Miś ( http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewto ... 23#p107623 ), but when the war broke out and Poland was overrun by Germans, works were stopped for obvious reasons.

Hi everyone, here is a little addition to the Antonov family tree. Sadly the drawing isn't as good as i intended, there is a surprising lack of references on this aircraft. if anyone has very detailed drawings or references they would be welcomed.

Can't comment on the details, but it certainly looks impressively big enough!

First of the blanks and other countries' paint schemes for the planes I made originally for Polish Wings:

Buecker Bu-181 Bestmann was a standard primary trainer of the Luftwaffe during WW2, that also found (after the war) a success in civil market. They were also built in other countries - in Sweden by Hägglund & Söner AB for the Flygvapnet (as Sk.25), Czechoslovakia (initially during the German occupation and later independently as Zlin Z-181/-281/-381) and finally in Egypt, which in 1950s purchased license from Czechoslovakia and produced them as Helwan Gomhouria. In total some 3400 were built and today some are still in flying condition.

Heinkel He-72 was a German sport and military training aircraft (used mostly for aerobatics training), built in series of 789.

Klemm Kl-35 was a German sport and training aircraft, of which some 2000 were built. Main user was the Luftwaffe, but smaller numbers were used both in civil and military aviation around Europe.
