It is a real Sail Training Vessel named after a 100 gun ship. I actually sailed on her when I was younger.

The sad part is everyone thinks that those two STV are the only STV on the Great Lakes................. This one is older, better built and has been supporting youth sail training since 1956........... The ship pictured was named after a vessel that ruled Lake Ontario during the War of 1812
