cold response 2014 that have been in Norway, I'll link up here some videos, and some pictures.

16000 men and women (7000+ Norwegian, including support personnel to other nation as vehicle driver, etc.)
air, Sea, Land, support.
mission is to have several country working together as one unit in snow, rain, extreme terrain, in temperature bellow -20C

This video show one of the US forward Storage of military equipment in Norway. After US wanted to close it down, the Norwegian army had made an deal with US on paying some of the bills for operating a base like these. thus you will see a couple of Norwegian vehicles in there now (mostly vehicles that have been just taken out of service, or are just not in use at the moment):

if you want fun... next year or so, Norway is starting up an new special force unit with only woman in. so yeah, fun...
