last time I read about spam-bots. they used google to google the answer (with a set of parameters) to any question that are in a registration systems.

but that is a couple years ago... today?

when I tried to use the cathpa here couple of month ago, we had 12 or so spamspot arriving instantly I had turned it on.

Well, I had set it up with Google's "reCaptcha" system - which seems to be a bit different. Fortunately I've seen a lot less kitchen spam today, but I did see a different type of spam poster... I guess we will just have to live with them, and really, deleting one or two per day isn't difficult at all.
