the damage on Helge Ingstad hull, is only to Starboard side:

- the big opening on the superstructure to bellow water line
- a hole under water line, question is due to it's position of that hole, it might have come when it was pushed on land

other damage is that the Sonardoom is not there anymore... to say it that way.


then we have all the interior damage.

But for now all contractors that delivered parts for the frigates are or have sending people to save as much equipment as possible. for example, GM are over to take care of the LM2500, and Navanti are there to take care of the engines, etc.

The Navy like to do things in the darkness...

all civilian ships (tugs, etc.) are not part of the last part of the mission, the last tow is done by the navy

Norwegian people have quit a lot of fun about the entire thing, in the commentary box, in Norwegian Newspapers... Specially those that have already decide how is at fault 24 hours after accident, love it, it's so salty

One of the comments that often goes again and again is: "Who is Navigating the tow of the barge, not the military well?" damage gloating, is standing high in Norway, just one thing I dislike about "peaceful" Norway... oh well
