Fantastic entries as usual - I think this was one of the most successful challenges yet, if just to see a ton of people who would normally not draw sailing ships try their hands at sailing rigs and succeed. Great work all! |

The community poll for the iron-clad menace challenge is now closed. 22 responses were received before the deadline. I wish to thank everyone who participated, including the artists who made the challenge possible. Congratulations to Charguizard who achieved first place with the corvette Reuzenpissebed. They went above and beyond with their excellent sails and were rewarded with the highest drawing quality score. Charguizard also received the largest number of points in the design realism category. Second place goes to TigerHunter1945 with the Ottoman ironclad Abdülmecîd. I was amazed by the rivets depicted on this entry. Skibud1998 came third with the three-decker Hawe vir d'Avalostad. It was great seeing a steam-powered ship of the line. Rdfox76 deserves special mention for achieving the highest score for originality. The fifth generation fighter challenge is now open for those interested. |
