I think overall I would agree with Soode on hull panel lines.
For a long time it has been convention not to show all welding lines in superstructures and hulls, drawings just get too cluttered and the effect is too confusing on the eye.

Faint lines for major joins that could be seen with the naked eye are ok, but drawing every panel is too cluttered. Charguizard's Tekun and Armoured man's Räisänen being on the overkill end of the spectrum, even on my own drawing some of the lines could be dispensed with I think. Its a fine dividing line between what looks good artistically to represent the main construction blocks and obsessive rivet counting. Welds are meant to be smooth and unobstrusive so realistically most of them should not be visible, especially at the scales we are drawing at.

Overall, a very busy challenge, a lot of good designs, some duff ones but nobody went full out crazy (even Bvon's submersible corvette is based on a real world project so has some realism cachet to it). No stand-out winner for me, I like a few of them and I reckon the scoring will be pretty tight.

And why all the changes in height around the hangar roof?
The add on structure on the hangar roof, is due to extra equipment, mainly NSM launcher.

Top view is good, but it could benefit from more loose electronics equipment like antennas, nav radars, SATCOM domes, and so on, even on a stealthy ship the totally bare deck over the bridge is odd.
I reduced loose and visible electronics as much as possible, on purpose, almost everything is integrated. The entire radar mast is of composite.
- Both wing on main radar, have a build in Satcom, there is also additional cameras on both wings.
- only 4 of the passed arrays are the main radar it self, rest is part of Navigation, antennas, electronic warfare etc.
- The top mast is basically similar to what the Japanese have done on their Mogami-class frigate, where you can find everything from EO/IR, cameras, navigation, coms, etc.

Many congratulations to master Hood for taking this one, and to superboy for a well deserved 2nd too, I'll gladly take 3rd with such a steep competition. This is the highest number of participants we've had, which was the same for the attack helicopter and MBT challenges, so the challenge institution is working magnificently, a testament to the community as a whole. I won't be making comments for each entry this time even though I liked very many of them, my creative time is being drained very quickly by multiple projects within and out of SB.
