Same here, I think you could get some really interesting contest entries with that prompt

Patrol craft would be cool as well, there's not nearly enough love for small boats

Amphibious warfare ship challenge, any kind that would be part of an amphib force, can also include accompanying small boats.

Standardized export warship challenge.

FD Scale: Supersonic VSTOL plane where you are obligated to present the propulsion system and not allowed to use the F-35 JSF lift-fan system :D
