Any South Africans or folks in the know, What type of Unimog chassis was the Buffel APC and Valkiri Rocket Launcher based off of? |

By Looking at when Valkiri was developed (1971), after a fast Wiki search on Mercedes Benz Unimog, gives me:- must exist before 1971 - U406 (production start 1963) - U406-80 was introduced in 1969 (U406-70 was introduced in 1966, but had many upgrades up trough the years) - Argentina was the first country to manufacture the Unimog outside Germany, in 1968 Buffel Wiki says it made use of the chassis, engine and some other components of the Mercedes-Benz U416-162 Unimog U416 is basicly the same as U406, but with a longer wheel base; 2,900 mm (U416), 2,380 mm (U406) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unimog#1970s https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unimog_406 |
