akizuki is on my worklist, and I might do murasame and takanami as well (as they are close to each other, and the old ones most likely only needs an update of their current drawings. http://www.shipbucket.com/images.php?di ... rasame.png http://www.shipbucket.com/images.php?di ... kanami.png)
that can be discussed though, the akizuki not :P feel free to mod the atago from my kongo though, if you want, I have no plans for her currently
I believe Erik_T has the forest sherman as WIP, so I would contact him on that (and there are a lot other USN destroyers and destroyer escorts missing, it seems likely some are unclaimed.
other then that, I can, especially for the japan folder, only applaud the effort of an new skilled member who can keep that folder one of the best.

Guess i need to ask myself why i never saw Murasame/Takanami drawing as i checked the japanese folder so many times :? that must be a consequence of beign sleep deprived (my cat loves waking me in the middle of the night) if you are willing to do the Murasame/Takaname within a short period from now i'll leave the lead to you, as i'm giving priority to WWII-era ships.
As for the Akizuki, i suppose you are claiming the latest version and not the WWII one right?
Also, the Atago is credited to "MConrads" who is he?

And finally, i will ask Erik about the Sherman, thanks for your help :)

Mconrads is one of the founders of shipbucket, and can be considered no longer on the board (he sometimes shows up...... but he was a lot more active before, you can see that most ships on the bucket still bear his name) when the drawings are as old as this one, and labeled mconrads only, it is mostly possible to redraw it just fine.
how short the period is I don't know, I am crazy busy right now but I draw when I can..... but I will do my best. and, of course, I mean DD-115 ;) sorry for not being clear on that.

No problems here, i've deleted DD-115 and given priority to you on Murasame/takanami :), i will also ceck for the Atagos DDG
Talking about US destroyers, i asked Erik_t about the Forrest Sherman, for the other ones i will check at a later date, if i'm not mistaken colosseum has made a lot of them, he could have plans for others.

I will send you some refs as soon m dropbox is updated. And I can tell you that I have a lot of refs on them, from the time they was build to today!

I started on the Allen M. Sumner and Gearing class destroyers but lost time/interest. I have partial drawings of the Sumner if you wanted to work on those.

There are no ships that I have a "claim" placed on. If you want to draw something, just go ahead and draw it!

Well, why not? at your discretion.
And feel free to reclaim them whenever you change your mind and decide to work back on them.
