Sorry if I open a possibly useless thread.
Back in 2012 (roughly) Ace asked me or Erusia_Force to redo his IJN Kongo drawing. Erusia took charge of the project soon after and planned to draw the entire class after completing the Yamatos.
Erusia is currently inactive since months. In the meantime Wiesman has claimed Hiei as of 1942 (despite he has not started yet, possibly for the same reasons I've ultimately opening this thread). While I'd like and I have enough material to draw Kongo herself and her sisters (icluding Hiei's other iterations not planned by Wiesman).
Would it be fair to start working on them? I've not seen Erusia here since a year or so but I'm sill reluctant to act in any way. Can I ask for 5cents from the Admins? (or other users, or even Erusia himself, just in case).
Thanks in advance :D

I have no proplems for you starting to work on your own project over Kongo's. In the end, this is drawing forum, not hog-a-claim-to-draw-something-forum. Only issues would become if both of you would submit the same ship into the uploading session, and even in such situation, I would propably accept both in, rather than start forbid someone to draw something and exclude others contributions.

I for one would LOVE to see the Kongos get the BB1987 treatment!

I've been gone a long time, and honestly have not been able to keep up with drawing. I am sorry that it has taken so long for me to come back and say this, but who ever would like to work on the Kongo Class is more than welcome. I would like to get back into drawing, but unfortunately I am not in the best position to finish projects at the moment.

sorry again boys,

Hayden
