The HSA P.6 Poseidón maritime patrol and ASW aircraft, operated by the Lisenian Navy beginning in 1983, is the mainstay of the navy's fixed-wing anti-submarine force, replacing a variety of obsolete types. The Cold War threat of Soviet submarines to Lisenia's sea lines of communication and commerce required a modern type to be developed. The locally-developed Atena S1 search radar is fitted in a retractable ventral radome and the MAD boom retracts into the tail.

Thank you! Here are the export variants. The main export customer was Taiwan, which ordered 18 P.6T variants, with Link 16 capability and wiring allowing the Harpoon and HF-2 missiles to be carried. The Brazilian and Chinese navies ordered small batches as well, with the Brazilian aircraft operating from that country's sole aircraft carrier. Eight refurbished examples were provided to Argentina, replacing Turbo Trackers, and these were locally upgraded to carry the Exocet anti-shipping missile.

Thanks for the compliments, mates. I've added an index to the first post, listing all the aircraft and vehicles and adding the relevant links to the drawings. I've got lots more stuff coming soon.

Among the very first aircraft to be operated by the Lisenian air corps was the Caudron G.3 trainer. A total of nine examples were purchased from France, destined to train pilots at the newly established Army Flying School in Rio Negro. This popular aircraft served until more advanced training aircraft could be obtained. Nonetheless, many pilots of earned their wings on this dependable workhorse during its time in service.

The next step for the Lisenian fighter force was the Hispano-Oriental C.10 Halcón, which replaced the Dewoitine D.21 and A.6 Barrilete. This small, maneuverable fighter was the mainstay of the interceptor squadrons until the outbreak of the Second World War. Designed and built entirely in Lisenia by H.O., it provided the country's aero industry with much needed experience in the design of higher performing aircraft. Although still far from being world class, it paved the way for much better aircraft in the future.
