Have come over the Australian TV series: Sea Patrol.

It's not bad for a TV serie, there are things there looking good, but there are some small things, but that is just details a person that have been on many ships, traveled with boats or work on a ship would notice. But season 2 is fixing some of the problems somewhat.

overall it's not bad, it's more an good serie. when I have watched some episode of it, it doesn't feel like the episodes is 40+ minutes, it's feel faster.

its not bad entertainment. Lots of interesting errors in it didn't know the RAN's standard pistol was the Cz75.
The production company has worked very closely with the RAN in the filming of it.

for the pistol, I think it comes down to what money they are using on the serie. or how long they are willing to wait for an copy gun for use in filming can be made.... But we do have paintball guns...

Well I think we do use the browning hi-power 9m, which shouldn't be too hard to get a copy of

I've met Lisa Mccune (the XO) a few times as she knows my mother and her children go to the same scout unit as my family do, TV make her seem a fair bit taller than in real life but she is a lovely person

There are some differences between Sea Patrol and the real RAN. But that was intentional as Sea Patrol is a drama and there has to be some artistic element to achieve this.

It has a lot more credibility than JAG and NCIS all the same.

"Sea Patrol" where my Op resolute AU initially came to mind. The Fremantles (has anyone actually done one to current standards) shown made me think about outer layer and the economy of an OPV over a frigate/destroyer.
