After SS Manhattan I need to relax with a small gem: here is the (WIP) Palinuro, the second training ship of the Italian Navy.
A classic barquentine built in 1934 in France and named Commandant Louis Richard. Acquired by Italy after the ww2 was completely restored and adpted to be a training ship.

Does it sail as horribly as the Americo Vespuci?

OK guys, this color palette you've posted is COMPLETELY NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR SHIPBUCKET.

Please see the tutorial here for how to do coloration!

Last warning!

Sorry Colosseum!
It is an old palette with some special colors. The grey are completely wrong.

PS maybe I am not understanding correctly what do you mean. Are you referring to sails?

No, I mean the whole ship. We can use a maximum of 3 color shades for each color. You have at least seven shades for each color, and that's not Shipbucket style.

In that case it must have a lazy captain

Ok! Now understand what you mean.
There still a lot of job to do. While hull is based on white (light grey) and black (very dark grey) I took sails, ropes and masts from Vespucci without paying attention to their colors. I'll reduce to a couple of hues the ropes: darker brown for the ropes of the masts and lighter for the ropes controlling the sails and for the ropes on the sail edges.
Don't worry! At the end will be a perfet SB standard ( also because I have several sail ship to draw...)

Tomorrow I'll post a quite famous picture of Gorch Foch behind Vespucci...
