Here's another Canadian airplane that was lost in history.

The Canadian Car & Foundry FDB-1, AKA Gregor FDB-1 (FDB stands for Fighter Dive Bomber) was a Canadian biplane multi-role fighter designed in 1938 by the Russo-Canadian designer Michael Gregor. Despite being a very modern and innovative design, inspired by contemporary biplane fighter-bombers like the Italian FIAT Cr.32/42, the British Gloster Gladiator, the German Heinkel He.51 or the Russian Polikarpov I-15, this airplane was overtaken by the events and no buyer was found. The only prototype was destroyed in a fire in 1945.

Thanks to Eswube for his review on this one.

Excellent news about your hand, Naixoterk.
A very good find about a very obscure aircraft, and the drawing itself is wonderful.

Love the FDB-1s. I never thought I would see this rarity.

Great work on the Grummans and the FDB (perhaps one of the coolest looking biplane fighters ever).
Good to hear you're on the mend too.

Amazing work on that Dewoitine.
French aircraft from the 1920s and 1930s always fascinated me.
