All of these (except for the Australian one) have been posted on this forum before but since there's a dedicated thread I might as well post them here.

Gentlemen, least it needs to be mentioned: when using either of the two masters artisan KimWerner or WhyMe's artwork, please give them due courtesy by crediting them, and you may use the following phrase that I'm using: CoA courtesy of______________(whichever of the two you prefer to use!)

Thanks for your kind words, Bezobrazov, but crediting is not required when using CoA bases drawn by me as they essentially are "ship parts" and should be treated in the same manner.
I think that Bezobrazov is refering to completed drawings of CoA's. For use of the matrix (or bases) I have it the same way; it's a part ;)

Yes, well. On the positive side these ships crests/badges are works of art, and deserving of the highest praise. But.... It is simply that they are not essential to the ships drawing; and, no offence shipmates, but some of them IMHO are just too large for the template of the ships they represent, so that the badge dominates the drawing. I have used the excellent badge templates, and thank you again gentlemen, but only the larger one on a bigger drawing where it doesn't dominate, otherwise I will use the smaller where appropriate. As to crediting; yes, if we are using the badge template it is a part, otherwise, with the badge artist where the finished product is used; you really need to add the badge artists name after your own on the credit, and not some extra dedication, as suggested above.

:D I'm very proud to present my latest CoA-work. Proud because it has been the most difficult and long lasting drawing of any of my badges. I'm aware that I set the pole for standard very high (maybe too high), but since childhood I've had a crush for heraldic. Therefore I can't draw a shield and make it public unless I'm satisfied myself. That makes it hard sometimes. When I'm looking at you other mates drawings - especially the tiny ones - I'm really impressed. The simplicity and though very fine finesses is examples to follow, but when I try to do it in the same way I'll always being dissatisfied with my own results. So I do it in my own way, and this badge of HMS Vanguard is simply the best I ever drawn. Hope you all enjoy it ;)
