I'm trying to draw the ferries that sail (sailed) from Portsmouth Harbour. Starting with MV St Helen, the Isle of Wight car ferry. She entered service in 1983 as a Sealink ship but I've shown her here in her Wightlink livery circa 2000. Also here is her sister ship St Catherine in her original livery for Sealink. She also entered service in 1983. She was sold to Delcomar in 2010 and is now called GB Conte.

They both go to the island, Portsmouth Harbour to Fishbourne, along with their sisters St Cecilia and St Faith. I working on the newest addition to the fleet, St Clare.

Portsmouth to Bilbao... The service was discontinued in 2010 and the vessel sold to St Peter Line. She was built in 1986 as the Olympia by the Wärtsilä shipyard in Turku, Finland. This was a real swine for me to draw, my toughest yet!

Very nice. How about underwater hull? Even a brief 5 minutes research got me this and this; I'm sure if you'd invest a bit more time you can find better references ;)

Well, my googling skills are obviously not all that... I couldn't find this. I've had some really crappy low res photos to use.

Thank you.

Excellent, and the P & O Flag is the icing on the cake :) My only advice is to move it to a current template with the Shipbucket logo.

Very nice, that PRIDE OF BILBAO! There aren't that many ferries in the bucket, so it's a welcome addition!
May I humbly suggest that you also draw her in the livery that she wore in her final Pompey years?

If you click on her IMO number below the picture in that link, you can find lots and lots of pictures of this vessel!

Thanks for liking the Bilbao. It took ages to get the right spacing on the windows in the hull. I need to come up with a more time efficient method for these kind of ships.

I will do the final livery for this ship... I chose the current one because I used to work at the Continental Ferry Port in Portsmouth and this is how I remember her... blocking out the sun everytime she pitched up!

Thanks for the links to the pictures. btw Where do I get the new shipbucket templates from?
