Thanks mate, I thought it was a bit odd; so, what we are seeing are the two shafts on each beam, the aft two in fairings.

Great drawing and its finally come. Looking in the archive I noticed that this one is absent. A good drawing, Ian.

Great drawing!

Any chance for late-war refits and a Korean War version?

Thanks for all the positive words guys. 8-)

As of now I am not really planning on the late war refits or the Korean War versions. As always, you guys are free to do whatever you want. I might draw the USS Missouri in 1944 and then in Tokyo Bay, but no promises.

Very Nice and well done indeed . Just a question is this when she was 1st commissioned before they increased her complement of Quad 40mm AA Gun mounts including having 1 fitted right at the front of the ships bow bulwark?
Yes, from what I can tell the Iowa received that refit in 1944.

Great job with the Iowa, as well as your recent work on the cruisers. There's a lot of nice detail there.

Colosseum, I've got three images of Iowa-class battleships done for me on another forum several years ago that might be helpful. Mind if I attach them to another post, as I don't use Photobucket often enough to remember my password there?

I'd get a Dropbox account. Much better software than Photobucket, and acts like FTP software, plus it runs through your shell!

The forum gets clogged by attachments is why I recommend an external host.

I'm using a library computer. Tell you what, I'll attach the images in question, and after you've downloaded them you can delete them as is your right as a moderator. Sound fair?
