Well,
  • Color Photograph, this means it's WW2 or later
  • No Green/Red Stripe, which puts it post war.
  • It's a liner, and very few liners served as post-war hospital ships.

I'd first guess Iroquis/Halifax but the bridge is too narrow, Floreal (the 76mm equiped variant) looks close but doesn't quite work for the same reason, I'd guess a Japanese/South Korean Destroyer-Escorty class
