British Aerospace P.96F was a fighter design for the Royal Air Force Air Staff Target 403 (AST 403), it was the for-runner of the Eurofighter Typhoon fighter.
P.96F was planned to make the first flight in August 1983, the design was in mind to be in the same class as F-18 Hornet, however the design was later judge too conventional and outdated.
In the end P.96F was cancel and absorb in to the Future European Fighter Aircraft (F/EFA) programme.
