The name is not CVR(T) but the answer is more complicated.

The 1936 version was the Carrier Machine Gun No.1 Mk.I with a Vickers MG. The 1937 version with a Bren MG was the Carrier Machine Gun No.2 Mk.I. In 1938 came the Carrier Machine Gun No.2 Mk.II and the Carrier Scout Mk.I. The Carrier Armoured OP came in five marks (No.1 Mk.I, No.1 Mk II, No.2 Mk.III, No.2A Mk.III and No.3 Mk.III*). Eventually sense prevailed and all the numerous variants were under the Universal Carrier title. Bren Carrier was unofficial.
