Maybe, but it's look wrong Golly. If you don't want to use black outline maybe some more dark grey. Canards don't look like wing, just like something black line with shadow under it.
To me it looks right, or at least more close to what it should be than the black outline.¨

Edit: As regarding the Canards, that actually needs to have all around blacklines as the shape of it seen from the side doesen't illustrate the kind of blended curve as the main wing.

Thus the third version

Naixoterk, hmmm... I think that you can make in some time one template with 4 or more different camos for G.55 to be future uploaded in archive. Just to have them all in one place. ;) So far you doing a nice job. And I know how Italian camos can be pain in the ass. :D
Done, plus a bonus:

I had the same feeling that I've seen someone doing J-10 at somepoint earlier. But I quess this is just another indication that we kinda need better organised FD database. That wouldn't have stopped me to draw it however.

Anyways until we have them we will end seeing duplicate drawings of same planes. Perhaps that's not a bad idea. If we end up taking similar process to upload FD-scale drawings, we need to have more discussion about the style and drawingrules as we have in SB. Comparing styles and stuff is good base for that discussion (like the wingblend stuff we just spoke with Rhade)

Anyways I will do JH-7 and J-8 next, I don't mind if they've been done before or not, I might need them for my AU stuff later anyways so I will do them myself regardless.

I definitely agree with you Golly, FD start to be pretty big and important part of Shipbucket.com Of course ships are on the first place but it is time to discuss some rules for FD. I know that boys are already work on upload standards.

I have FD database essentialy completed, but because it's close to 3000 files, I asked DG_Alpha to do quality check (actually, He volunteered for help), which is almost finished as well. Once that's done, I'll apply final polish and will send it all for upload to Timothy.

@Gollevainen, Radome
As for JH-7 and J-8 - I don't have it in the database.
If You need resources, I have some interesting from Nowa Technika Wojskowa for both of them (although they are few years old).

(Gosh, I hoped that nobody would claim them for several more months, until I'll have all my recent plans finished... :lol: )

EDIT:
@Hood
VC.10 will be done. My worklist is growing, but only after VC.10 (therefore the "growth" is not delaying it) :evil: - before it, only FD aircraft that will be posted by me are: An-12 (ready, will be posted tomorrow - hopefully), Il-18, Il-62 and Il-86/-96 (request by BB1987, that's already waiting to be done longer than Vickers).
Is Your mention about VC.10AEW/MPA/Skybolt etc. an official claim?
Pity, I was planning to ask You if You have any materials regarding these. But since You're much more knowledgeable about these, that's ok. Still, I reserve myself right to draw planned double-decker VC.10.

Would back Golly's use of grey for the wing roots. It often looks better, but of course with camo schemes etc. it means having matching greens and greys too. I think generally the principles between SB and FD are still basically the same.

eswube, great to hear. That's an impressive next few E.Bloc types to look forward too. If you want to do the VC-10 military versions then that's fine with me. I can forward the stuff, its all mainly from the secretprojects site and you probably have seen them yourself, but I can forward what I've got.
