Excellent work, although I wish it were in a different camo. I know Measure 21 is a realistic pattern, but it seems to wash out some of the finer detail in the drawing (or maybe it's just me :P )

I need to revise the Measure 21 color... it's currently too "rich" and needs to be a bit more washed out.

Colosseum, would this Navy Blue 5-N color pallet be approved by you?

Here is the 1942 Lexington with the proper Navy Blue 5-N:

Nice drawing!

I personally think the darkest shade of blue is too dark. It makes the overhang shadows look a bit odd.

Regarding the drawing, I don't think the casements look right at the minute, more detail needs to be added to show moving parts. The rafts that are mounted at an angle on the turrets look a bit off. Excuse my lack of jargon here, but the white outline section should be wider to show some depth; the angled ones look to be of different dimensions to the vertically-mounted ones. Also the 'slats' (?) inside the rafts should also be angled instead of horizontal.

The rafts have been reshaped to follow the shape of the turret. I have angled the slats. The colors have the same differance between each other as the standard gray. I have added a dark shadow to show the rounded end of the casemates.

1943 is going to show some more changes to the Lady Lex. She will recieve a SK radar where the SRa is now, the SC radar will be replaced with a SG radar and the current SG radar will be removed. The aft cage "stump" will be completely removed and replaced with an aft mast structure similar to the Colorado. All 76 mm guns will be replaced with Bofors 40mm guns and the complement of 20mm Oerlikons will be increased. All boats, except for maybe two, will be removed. She will keep her Measure 21 through 1943.

Life rafts were generally painted to match the camouflage color behind them. The Navy Blue scheme looks good but I haven't really had time to check it or anything... I think for this stuff it's fine.

Also, the rigging and railing that's not on top of the background shade (i.e., is surrounded entirely by white) should be colored grey, not the camouflage color.
