Ah you were talking completely different ship than I was. My example was for the Ioan Zlatoust but you ment the Afanasiy Veliky class.

In the case of Afanasiy, the original project where the drawing is based features much larger 203mm turrets. No overview image exist of the design however. I used the same superstructure dimension but reduced the size of the turret as Afanasiy Velikiy features 152mm guns. So that explains the offset of the turrets (tough in retrospect, I should propably had them set more centre of the deepening). However the distance between the turret and the inner curve of the deepening is such that the turret is able to rotate.

Love the light cruisers.

The Pallada seems a very cramped ship and those 152mm seem to have little room for working the breech. Square portholes are also very unusual.
I'd be interested to see the original design or more details about this ship you've used for your AU.

Yeah I wonderded the gun arragment of the Pallada class myself and I think those forward guns indeed have hard time to fire forward. However its based on real design, sneaked in to this AU scenario in last minutes. It is based on the Gavrilovs "fast cruiser" study from the early 1900's. I'll dig up the reference material tommorow and send it to you.

They look very good Golly.

The B, O & V classes certainly look like the real thing.
