Lifeboats moved and multiplied.

BTW, since when I first saw them I couldn't figure out what they were, does anyone have a picture of what these lifeboats look like in real life?

Those you showed they use in the american navy for their supercarrier's.
I have been in a 100 person version.
And trust me, you dont like to get in there :P
Especially the like 25? person version.
Omg you have to jump on the roof, and below there nobody can sit until everybody is in.
And before that everybody has to get on top of each other at the sides.
It freaking hurt's.

Having done a 24hour evacuation drill in a 25 man raft and a 3 hour drill in a 200 man raft. I prefer the 25 man raft, even though I had to stay there for six times as long.
And if you're jumping down onto the roof then you're doing something seriously wrong.
You either go in through the entrance or into the water.

Are these Navy personnel or corporate personnel demonstrating?

Yeah weird question I know. Gonna ask it anyway.

Neither. It's a NOAA training program and it's not for show.

NOAA personnel I believe.

While we're on the topic of lifeboats, my favourite is the freefall boat.
[ img ]
It has more equipment than a raft, loads of space and comfy seats.
I tried launching the one we have on-board here, and it'll kick any roller-coaster to the curb.

Do you have to wear seatbelts?
