During the ,1920s and 1930s the most common AA-gun was the Skoda 66mm gun. You should be able to find it on any on Lazer_Ones Italian drawings. The stem is still of an unsatisfactory shape and form...

You mean 66mm M1910/1915? Never heard about it in italian navy.

Yes, it sure existed there! That'd be the most appropriate choice for your time period!

The problem is that I can not find a single Italian ship armed with her. Are you sure that Italy bought it? Perhaps she arming some ancillary units?

I am sure, dead sure, in fact. All the heavy cruisers, from Trento to Gorizia did have them. It was outmoded by 1939, but the Italians by then had the 90mm gun instead. Also BB:s had them.

WHAT?!

This is "Trento"

Show me ANY ([s]"K" letter in the title "For the leading magic" (c)[s]) 66-mm cannon on this cruiser! I see only 203-mm, 100-mm and 40-mm.

According to my sources, 66-mm AA-canon NEVER EXIST in italian navy.

yeah, as far as I know the only 66mm italian weapon was the abortive prototype dating from WWII and was intended for the Capitani Romani, the carriers and Etna class... only few prototypes were build. Main AA weapon for italians were the 100mm/47, itself an adaptation of Skoda's model from 1910

FYI in 1942 Italy was working on a 65mm AA/DP gun, but that's much later than this design...
