Part of me wants to draw these, another part of me wants to build a full working model, and another part of me hates the weather we are having ...

Interesting concepts though, getting my mind starting to thumb around ideas.

Apparently The US weren't the only ones dreaming of weird submarines.
Tauchschiff Projekt 50 (Huge image)
If I'm reading it correctly it's got four bow torpedo tubes, two stern torpedo tubes, two rotating broadside torpedo tubes and no less than four deck guns. Oh and the entire thing is powered by four high pressure steam boilers and turbines.

thiel, how have you found these, and is there more like this in that same place? (old plans with full dimensions I mean)

Holy shit. I just looked over the Tauchshiff Prject 50 again. That thing would have been 200 meters long!
