Fantastic work with Gannet!

Btw. Darthpanda - what happened to Your older FD drawings? It seems that lots of them (not all, but many) are gone. :(

And the A-17's little brother, the Northrop 8A-5 aka A-33:

Now the A-33 was originally meant for Norway, but after Norway fell to the Nazis, they were then destined for Peru, but some were deviated to USAAF command and used for target tugs and other non combat duties, a grave error in judgement in my opinion.

I'm not sure why you think that. The A-17's/A-33's contemporaries (including the Stuka) lacked the performance to be viable combat aircraft, something that can't be said of fighters configured for the same mission. Besides, the USAAF already fielded a plane that was based on an improved design of the A-17/A-33 - the A-24 Banshee, based on the SBD Dauntless (itself based on the aforementioned aircraft).

Klag, the SBD & A-24 were the same aircraft, just with different designations.

Anyway Revised versions of the A-17 & A-33.

Well most of dive bombers/close support planes lacked the performance of fighters.
