You're still using the old ans way out of scale 20mm guns

Those are 16"/45 mk6 guns from the parts sheet.
she had the mark 6 guns. and if you used the guns from the partsheet, you would also had the life rafts on the turret, since the current mark 6 have life rafts on the turret.

Great drawing! I'm glad someone is finally doing this ship. I'm not sure about your AA guns though if this is the early 1942 configuration. Notice in the picture below that there are only 4 1.1 inch mounts, the 20mm positions are different, and there are .50 cals thrown in for good measure. Also the 5"/38 directors don't have the antenna on top yet. Hope this helps and I cant wait to see this ship completed.

David, what you have is the Washington, North Carolina had an extra watch deck on the mast, that the Washington didn't.

BB-55 received the enclosed walkway around the secondary conning station in November 1943 at Pearl Harbor - so his drawing is correct.

I know, I removed the live rafts . . . I'll put them back.

I was very hesitant to include the radar on the gun directors thinking it too early . . . off with their heads!

Radar is gone and rafts returned. Still working on the 20mms found the right part though.

Hmmm,
On your drawing, you make a big mistake on the AA configuration (1941).

1) You put 11  :? quadruple 1,1"in 28mm when in reality there are only 4 quadruple mounts...
2) You put  43  single 20mm oerlikons, I do not think there have Oerlikons 20mm guns on this ship by may-december 1941, this ship carry only 12 to 15 0,5" MG's....
