After much consideration and studies... Here she comes the unbuild half sister of the HSwMS Halland - the Lappland (and her sister the Värmland).

They are based on their predecessor "Halland" but changed in some aspects, they lack the tin 57mm mount and one ASRL on the bow. But they carry more diectors (I donät know of hich type?). Four directors I think is quite impressive in the 1960s.

They where cancelled in 1958 due to that the airforce stole 25% of the navy's budget after coup with the army.... something which has been corrected jet.

what is the ?launcher? rear of the aft gun
A ASW rocket launcher or chaff dispenser of some sort?

If I'm not mistaken it's a launcher for 105mm illumination and/or flare rockets
