So, bringing about my first destroyer design, HMS Djährv, armed with five 5,12"/130mm.
This destroyer goes into service in the late 20's.
Hope you like it! :D

Commendable effort, but there are few things that needs fixing:
Propellers and rudder seem to have been cut-off at the bottom.
Hull is too boxy in the front view. In fact only landing craft and small coasters have a flat bottom (AFIK). A destroyer has a more rounded hull.
The superstructure looks too low (without exact measure seems like 10-12 pixels high, which is too low)
Stern section behind the rudder is too long - look at real life ships to see what I mean.
The depth charge rack is wrongly placed - it's have to be at the extreme stern, overhangin it, so the depth-bombs will drop into the water, and not the ship itself.
You might consider giving the bows some sheer, as it is the ship will be wet, and A gun almost useless in any kind of weather, because of the seas .

Sorry for not being very active lately... Skyrim is a curse.
Anyway, here is V 1.2. I've tried to follow Novice's advices to the letter, plus some other things.
Waddaya think?

Just a few points I see

*The sheer might not be enough currently, maybe raise it 2-3 pix?

*The boats need more detail of course

Other than that I like the layout and really love the front view!

You'll want a rear director for the guns...

Fletcher and Gearing disagree with you.

You will want an aft mast of some sort so the X and Y guns doesn't cut the radio aerials.

I'd agree on the aft mast. Also you might want to increase the rake of the funnels, at present they just look wonky (that's down to the small scale at which we work), perhaps make them a litte more raked. I quite like the bridage area, very compact yet functional.

I suppose instead of a aft mast, you could just, I have forgotten the term, place a miniature mast on the stern about 10pix tall and fly the flag off may be?
